Rattlesnake Betty’s Resin Art Camp is a five-day, hands-on creative experience designed for mature students entering 3rd grade and up who love color, sparkle, and making things with intention.
During this small-group studio camp, students will safely learn to work with both epoxy resin and UV resin while creating professional-quality projects they will be proud to wear, gift, and display.
What Students Will Create
• A mixed media art piece sealed in epoxy resin
• Multiple UV resin hair clips
• Jewelry pieces
• Decorative bookmarks
Students will learn:
• Resin safety procedures and studio expectations
• Proper measuring and mixing techniques
• Color blending and layering
• Embedding glitter, charms, and found objects
• Curing and finishing techniques
This camp focuses on both creativity and craftsmanship. Students will leave understanding the full resin process from start to finish.
Take-Home Supplies
Each student will receive:
• Their completed artwork
• A UV resin lamp
• Silicone molds
• Tools and leftover supplies
• Materials to continue creating at home

Important Safety Information
Resin is a professional art medium that must be handled carefully. Epoxy and UV resin can be hazardous if not used properly. Students are required to follow all studio safety rules at all times.
Safety requirements include:
• Wearing gloves while handling resin
• Keeping long hair tied back or braided before entering the studio
• Wearing clothing that can get messy
• Following instructor directions immediately
• Keeping materials away from face and mouth
• Maintaining respectful and focused behavior in the studio
This camp is for mature students only. Participants must be able to follow multi-step directions and adhere to safety procedures consistently.
